Hey everyone,

I am new to web development, but I have just gotten a job working for a small start-up company to produce a really great website idea that they have. However, I am inexperienced and worried that I am going to sound like a complete idiot to the guys that hired me. Worried I may already have done that.

My question is this: Where is the information in a database stored? On the web host's servers?

I'm really new, so beyond my previous question, any and all advice is very, very welcome.
