Great Post and all true.

One important consideration is the relative path for images/media and other sections/categories.

Starting with a home page url as baseurl and then linking everything and every component from there has worked best for me.

@ TheMadScientist, I too got entangled once in such scenario, but luckily could resolve this pagination issue very quickly by just identifying and catching the ‘/number/’ at the end of url for any paginated listing url.
