As per flash movie, that's a topic for a different thread.
Its an interesting thing to talk about, but here I wanted to specifically talk about live 3D characters, since they aren't usually mentioned anywhere.
Generally speaking, I think that anything that moves and talks should be used only by a user's command. Otherwise, its an annoyance.
