Hi I am fairly new when it comes to stat logging and have done a few examples just to get used to it. Anyway, I was wondering exactly what the advantages and disadvantages of using Client Side (JavaScript) logging over Server Side (ASP) logging and visa versa. Can anyone tell me what both are capable of - like what stats they can log.

I know that you can log stats into a text file with doing it server side, can you log the client stats on the client's computer (or elsewhere) using Javascript - say in a cookie or something?

Any help would be muchly appreciated.
