You can get some really cheap hosting out there. What I would suggest is that you try to find a "reliable" and cheap hosting co.

When I started out I used to believe all the hype on the hosts site and soon found out that they had bad downtime problems and were very rude when I complained. So I did some research on the internet and found some really good and (relatively) cheap hosting with good customer support.
