thanks to all your kind advices, it seems i got a lead now. also thanks a lot for advising me to use overture, its really helping.

i knew that few found my orignal question to be vague, but i wanted this thread to be as open as possible.

My real problem is that I am not able to decide on CMS to use --- Mambo or Zope? Mambo is easy to use and host......but lacks hirearchy required for real portals. Zope/Plone on other hand is slightly tricky issue and hosting seems to be a big pain.
