Port 80 is the HTTP port. All websites and browsers implicitly use port 80 (or 443 for HTTPS).
ie: http://example.com/ is a request for http://example.com:80/ with the Port 80 bit implicit.
So if you use a different port, you have to specify that port when you contact the web server. The solution is to use port 80 with host header names configured, or multiple IP addresses.
