I would have thought an extra line in your robots.txt would be an easier workaround. That fixes the problem of duplicate content in the SERPS. Unless there is some other issue I haven't considered?
a workaround might be to not allow cookieless sessions and test if the url does not match the rawurl. Then you can rewrite using a 404 or 301.
