Same with HTML - I use Dreamweaver for the basic layout, then edit my code by hand in Textpad. I like Dreamweaver because there are so many functions that it does well, and only a few that it doesn't do well. It's VERY easy to learn, and there is a wide support network. But no editor is perfect. I don't like their stock javascripts for instance, and usually write my own.
I use DreameaverUltraDev for the basic asp coding, then go back and tweak and manipulate the code with a bare text editor called "Textpad" www.textpad.com
