---- WYSIWYG freeware? eg BlueGriffon

Hi guys I'm a newbie so go easy ok!

Please excuse the cross-posting - I didn't get any responses in the New To Web Development forum...

I read maddwraph's post 'Programs for developing a new basic website' & while it was interesting it didn't really offer too many software recommendations for developing a basic website.

Nearly 10 years ago I built my (very basic & clunky) business website using DreamWeaver. My site is sooooo out of date it's embarrassing & it's time for me to bring it into the 21st Century, lol!

Now I don't have DW installed on my W7 PC & am wondering if anyone can recommend any WYSIWYG freeware before I go buy the latest DW?

Eg has anybody tried www.bluegriffon.org ?
Any comments?

In the long term I'm open to learning hand coding but for now I need to do some quick & long overdue updates to my old site while I work on the new one.
