---- Front Page to Dreamweaver

Microsoft has a bulletin on this:
[support.microsoft.com...]

This will depend on how many of the FrontPage'isms they used. These will have to be deleted. Things like date modified, and includes.

You should be able to open the file in Dreamweaver. At the worst you can use HTTrack to download the site and then open it in Dreameaver.

When I converted about 8 years ago, I used HTML includes with Frontpage. I converted the long code into a simple include I could easily search for and then did a sitewide search and replace (using UltraEdit) to replace the Frontpage includes with Dreamweaver Library functions. Once I had the Dreamweaver code in place I could replace the short one with longer returns.

With 1,000 pages and 2,000+ images I also use Site Publisher rather than the Dreamweaver built in FTP.
