Oh, "stupid" might be a little harsh. ;)

I've found both FrontPage and EWD's rendering engine to be fine in most instances. In fact, it has probably helped me to detect more bugs than what it may present in the Design View. The browsers are pretty good about displaying most things correctly. The Design View in FP and EWD is probably a bit more strict than a browser.
