I still use GoLive for certain uses, and DW, too. I'm surprised it took them this long to make the announcement.

Bloated apps - yes, why is that be the way! It's just too easy to to add bloat, but tougher to optimise. It's easier for the developers to apps on this bloat with a requirement for ever larger HD and more RAM.
