When you want a WYSIWYG editor which is compatible with CSS and CMS; you are setting yourself up for a fall.

It has been a long learning process for me; but I now know that the 'WYSIWYG' editor should be running with all FONT, COLOUR, TABLE, etc. options disabled or removed - allowing just the set of H1-H6, and predefined CSS styles to be used.

Whatever you do, do not ever paste content from any software other than notepad. If you can, disable the paste functionality.

If you do that then you will get great clean results with most WYSIWYG editors. Particularly the not cutting-and-pasting bit.
