Can Expression understand editable regions defined in Dreamweaver?

I can't use the 'menu > format > dynamic web templates' menu option in Express trial version for some reason.

I have a site using .dwt file authored in DW. I know FP 2003 can't understand editable regions defined in DW. Can Expression?
