>preview a page appears different from how I see it in the page mode

Do you mean the preview mode in FP or normal mode? Preview mode will be pretty close but as Mivox says you should always check in a "real" browser, and indeed various browsers. Normal mode will move things arond a little as it needs to display information such, as table borders, not normally seen on the real page.

Also, are your pages static HTML or dynamic ASP? And, are you viewing your pages directly in the browser or through a web server such as PWS? That can make a real difference if the page needs to be constructed by the server before being sent to the browser.

>It it something wrong with me?
Have no fear, 'tis not you....

>Is it any better than Front Page application that I can use and get exactly what I see from the page editing mode???

Again as Mivox says, all the WYSIWYG editors have their own quirks and none will display exactly the same as a browser. I personally like FP and use it all the time. In fact, as an example, for very large sites I find the intelligent renameing feature far outways any other challenges the program may have.

I have tried Dreamweaver and Golive and don't care for either, but then that is just my opinion. Obviously other people think differently from me and that is OK. You see, I will always allow other people to have an opinion that differs from mine, as long as they realise they are wrong! <joking!!!>
