1. Yes, you could do that with a stylesheet. One way would be to set an ID on the <body> and another ID on the link. Then set the appropriate styling for when the right conditions are met.

2. Is this happening only in the FP WYSIWYG? How does it look in FireFox or Opera? If you could post a simplified portion of the offending code it might help.
