Palm OS is dead. It's webOS now, which Google, Apple, Rim and now Microsoft are happy to copy from in their respective mobile OSes. Just last week, Microsoft unveiled the card interface similar to webOS. WP7 copied the synergy features of webOs where all your contacts are aggregated in one place.
This is turkey alright. I would prefer Nokia to just die... Microsoft too. Glad to see MeeGo and Symbian pushed aside. Now time for BlackBerry and Microsoft to be pulverized. Problem is Microsoft will keep on pushing WP7 and force feed it to people and carriers even if we don't want that stuff.
Only platforms that should remain, in my opinion is the Silicon Valley trinity Apple, HP and Google. The rest is all crap without any real progress or innovation. Apple drives the business models and designs, HP drives the technological innovation and Google disrupts. All the other players add nothing to the game. I wish Nokia would just disappear and Microsoft stick to desktop Windows and Office.
