Well, I've been using ours for about two weeks now. I'm a fan. Entire family is hooked. Don't need the email now that we're back home, but the games - my wife's played a video game for the first time in her life. I use it for reading the news extensively now. As I noted, everything from our national newspapers, to the BBC, to the weekly newspaper of the population 300 town that was near where we were vacationing (in a remote area).

In fact, I was reading the BBC news on my ipad today and one of their tech stories was on how someone in India is trying to build a $35 touchscreen computer. I very much see a $200 version - but not from Apple. I'm hopeful that in the next 3-5years we'll see a linux based machine - then I can tie it into my desktop and have a lot more freedom than with the closed apple platform.
