Who in their right mind runs out to buy something known to have multiple somewhat serious defects until the problems have been resolved?
Uh, that would be me ;>).
I didn't buy it for it's phone. I make maybe 2-3 calls a month with it. For me it's a computer, camera, video camera, browser, mp3 player, gps, email client, and much more that just happens to have a phone. Also, it has a stunning display, it's light and very small and the battery is much better then previous models.
All of the known defects upfront were meaningless to me. My iPhone4 is unquestionably the best toy/gadget I have ever owned.
