Mega I'd hold off until the dust settles.

Apple might be able to migrate it with a software patch.

Apple might be able to migrate it with minor hardware changes.

But they might not be able to do anything quickly leaving you with a phone that drops 10-20% of it signal when the lower left corner is held.

There are other serious reported issues but things are so wild on the forums/blogs that it's hard right now to tell which are real or not.
