HTML5 will fix this.

Assuming Apple goes along with HTML 5. After all, 'developers must work in "Objective-C, C++ or JavaScript"' and HTML 5 isn't in that list.

What Apple wants to avoid is any apps that don't go through their closed process and which they don't get revenue from.
