Wrong...these apps would never hit the bank, therefore there is nothing the banks can do except warn their customers against using them. Similar to a regular phishing page, the apps would simply be setup to look like their bank. Once people enter their login information, the apps would most likely just give them a msg along the lines of "sorry, can't access mobile banking at this time...please try again later" or similar.
