Apple's App Store Passes 2 Billion Downloads [reuters.com]

Apple Inc said on Monday that downloads from its iTunes applications store had passed 2 billion and that it now has more than 85,000 apps available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It did not say how many of the applications delivered were sold and how many were free.
