Well D-Link actually market this product as a device that you can ".... plug into your ADSL socket and then share the broadband connection via 802.11 with nothing else required".

So if they're lying, then they're going to get a rocket from me on the phone as I spent about 4 hours last night trying to get the damn thing working.....
