Its the WayBackMachine, which had taken enough snapshots of my pages to reasonably prove that my content preceeded the stuff on the other sites. This was more valuable than the creation dates of my files on the web server, which change whenever you change hosts. If you get into a situation where the violator says "prove you're the original author", thats a nightmare. I've been so annoyed by this recurring problem, that I did use the services of the copyrightwebsite.com.
