I’ve been running into numerous large scrapers that gather data about a site and display it. The complaint I have is these sites are capturing content (entire index pages) and displaying it without consent. It’s displayed under the title “Captured Content” on these sites. Besides the obvious that the stolen content carries Google Adsense I can’t figure out why Google is rejecting the DMCA’s. Bing is accepting the DMCA’s and removing the content so seemingly the distinction only seems to be the Adsense. Anybody running into this lately where Google seems to be rejecting all DMCA’s? It’s a night and day difference between the competence levels at Bing and Google when it comes to an understanding of the English language.
