I often use press releases as a basis for posts on an industry news site I run.

I'm in Canada. When I see a press release issued that says "NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. WIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISTRIBUTION INTO THE UNITED STATES." what does this mean? Does it restrict me from using the contents of the press release in any way?
