Recently, one of our client was facing problem of duplicate content. Though they were originators of content but even due to tagging and date stamp, the scrapper content was seen while their content was de-indexed.

Matt Cuts Said "They try to show the content they think came first or has the most value"

Though this still not hold true in case of our client.

In the hindsight of this, How you make your content look original for google.
