For a long time I had a "review" capability for the restaurants, etc on my site, and I got lots of them from customers. But most of the reviews were merely one or two sentences long --not really reviews at all, basically just short comments.
I look at Yelp and those people write long multi-paragraph reviews that in some cases are longer than many articles on the subject.
Can anyone explain to me WHY people on Yelp write such long, detailed reviews if they're not getting paid to do so?
