For instance, whenever I notice that an article is a Wikipedia re-post, I don't bother with the rest of the site, since it is saying (to me) that it has nothing original (and thus potentially useful) to offer. Granted, this conclusion may not in all cases be accurate, but the general impression seems reasonable. Is this an impression that one would want to provide to one's visitors? Eliz.
Even where reproduction is permitted (such as Wikipedia [en.wikipedia.org]), why would one desire to post nothing more than copies of other people's works?
