Interesting question. From my perspective I know how to copyright a work with the U.S. Copyright and Patent office, but I would be more interested in protecting the work from piracy or theft on the Internet. Software applications that allow the item to be sold and still control who can get it, open it, and use it would be something I would be interested in.
