I'd suggest giving dates in written, and not numeric format, to avoid misunderstandings. For example, "Super Widgets (USA) will hold a press conference at 10am on 8/7/2006 at the Wonderful Hotel in Hyde Park, London". Was the press release written by an American or a non-American? Is the press conference on 8th July 2006 or August 7th 2006? Non-Americans will automatically read the numeric format at 8th July.
Always begin with a correctly formatted 'Date Line'
