I kinda like the idea of having a linux forum, though I wonder if we have enough critical mass of linux users (and knowledge) to make thriving forum. I know there are a few here who have a good amount of experience with *nix systems. However, I'd rather ask you guys than have to go to a different website.

That said, there are a lot of good linux-help sites. Check out the list at dmoz [dmoz.org].

[linuxnewbie.org...] does have a friendly forum that has helped me out a couple of times. They don't seem to be snobs.
