My printer was working just fine.

Today it stopped. No explanation, just stopped. It works fine from Windows, but not Linux.

Three hours of messing around to get it to work and I give up.

This means I can't be Linux only in my office. We do need to print. No printing means closing a business, loss of income, loss of house. Sorry Linux, this isn't good enough. Printing is a basic requirement and you can't just break it for people.
