Hi all,
I’ve decided to recover an old machine of mine into a web server just out of curiosity. It is my first time looking into Linux. It was very hard to understand that arquitecture after a all live of windows but in the last two months I’ve discover so many new possibilities that I regret the fact of not trying it out sooner. So as silly as it may sound a lot of my doubts are simple things that I can not found the answer anywhere.
Strait to the point: I’m using sendmail and the Return-path: daemon@mydomain.net. As far as I know this does not look right. It should be something like my-user@mydomain.net.
The way it is happening it looks available for every spammer. Is my logic correct and if so how can a fix the issue?
