Yes FAST have their own bot out crawling the net as we speak. I'm not that surprised actually that you never heard of them as their showcase ATW is not being pushed very hard. However if you look at you logs you should notice a sprinkle of traffic from Lycos. FAST powers search at Lycos and a lot of other portals [webmasterworld.com]. Their bot is called FAST Web Crawler [fastsearch.com]

They also have a really cool Search Spy [webmasterworld.com]

They were recently bought by Overture [webmasterworld.com], so who knows where it all will end?
