As somebody who has complained about the trash results of Fast before, I want to say that what I see today is an enormous improvement over a couple weeks ago. Night and day.

The results still may not be in Google's league but they are now in the league of Ink or even Teoma. Still too much sub-domain spam, but much more relevance in terms of actual usefulness of the sites returned.

Fast has had the problem of not being able to tell the difference between words and content, basically lacking the linking/pagerank/voting concept that Google uses. But whatever they just did, all of a sudden authority and relevance matters!

Major, major positive step.
