Quite a few engines/portals do this feature, though mostly minor ones.
Interestingly Lycos.Europe sites have lately introduced a live search:
[webmasterworld.com...]

What I find interesting with the ATW feature is to watch the spread of languages. I've seen quite a few french and german queries. Also remarkable how many people seem to use the url investigator, i.e. typing in urls.
