Those results on ATW are accessible by <snip> My questions:
In a german webworker forum we are discussing rewriting URIs and how this affectes SEs.
One user pointed out that a site: search on ATW for this particular forum (a VBB installation) returned two results only:
One to the forum index page and a second to the member info page of the 'webmaster posts portal news ID' which has -by its nature- plenty of links within the website to its member page.
Comparison:
Results of an other VBB installation show quite a difference: <snip> This website uses an archive system rewriting URIs to something like foobar.htm
I think it is quite odd that the "news-ID" is shown in the result. Can we gain an insight into the ATW algo by thase resutls? The news subforum is located at the top of the forum index page and the member page is linked frequently from in there so might there be a plus for links further up in the source?
I post this in the hope that we might be able to extract some general information about the new ATW (I could not find fresh info in the resources I know). I am new to this forum and hope I am on topic.
Best regards from Berlin, Germany
