Does anybody know of any comparison on what differences there seems to be on the algos of the Google and FAST engines?

I notice that some sites rank very well for a few main keywords in Google, but FAST puts them pages below sites that don't even show up in Google.

One that seems to be showing through for my searches is the domain name. (i.e. www.kw1-kw2.com, www.keyword.com, and www.kw1--kw2.com)

What are the odds that the algo will change under new ownership? (the looks already changed, why not the innerworkings...)
