Don't think I quite get you there - what do mean by well?

If you mean traffic-wise, I'd say if you target Europe, it could be worthwile and in some cases even a very good investment.

If you're targeting the US and thereby Lycos.com, it can be another story hence Lycos is not that be big over there.
