Fast appear to be cleaning up the Japanese SERPS though. I read that last week they had about 139 million Japanese pages indexed (that's a 13% drop) and have killed a lot of duplicate pages.
It's sad to see all that Japanese sitting in there with no Japanese interface for the masses :(
