i know that Alexa is frowned upon by some folks, and you can't rely on the stats very much, but i think it's a decent enough way to pass a few minutes when you're supposed to be working -- looking up all the graphs to see how you are doing against your competitors.
but... alas! i have just noticed that they've removed a lot of the free stuff, and are asking for subscription payments instead.
you can no longer get those little graphs up showing traffic, page views, bounce rates, time on site etc, that you could switch between weekly/monthly/3 monthly and 6 monthly. you just get one number instead.
and you can no longer compare your numbers against other sites either, unless you stump up some money.
first geocities disappears, then altavista... and now alexa shuts some stuff. i feel like my youth is being plucked away bit by bit
