working on a new site hosted half-way around the world.
I'm poking around (isn't that the first step of a site audit?) and immediately notice that GA is not reporting any of my page views.
My searches aren't just showing up as (not provided) any page views are just COMPLETELY INVISIBLE as if they were stripped out of the data stream.
First check - is GA on the page (yes), and is it working as those pages are otherwise showing up in GA.
This is quite uncanny as I was specifically looking at unique pages, using the checkout process, etc.
So, now 24 hours later, these particular page views are still completely not found in GA.
Just now, I logged out of Google and made sure I was not forcing SSL in my search, and sure enough, GA Real Time shows the page views (and I'm absolutely sure it is me as I looked at the city parameter and that confirms it.)
So the big question is - can Google SSL encryption actually disable the observation of page views?
If not, where do I start in sorting this one out?
Can the GA tracking code work in some cases but not others?
