Starting a few months ago, I started receiving traffic from about a dozen websites that are all very similar. All of these websites appear to be sophisticated spam websites where "users" ask questions and receive answers on everyday topics like televisions or microwaves. None of these sites appear to have real human communities, its almost as though the content is generated by robots or some professional copy writer.
Check out techrush dot com and see what I'm talking about
Anyway, I can't explain how in the world I am getting between 10-30 visits per week from each of these websites. I am not advertising on these sites, and when i search the websites for any mention of my product, I get no results.
I initially thought that this traffic was being caused by a fishy display advertising campaign that was launched on the same day I started receiving these clicks. Since disabling this marketing campaign, I am still receiving clicks from these websites.
How in the world am I getting traffic from these websites?
