Hi all,

I'm not sure if this post is in the right topic, but I'll put it here because it is related to WebTrends.

Anyway, I tried to install WebTrends HTTP POST plug-in, and followed the steps found in
WebTrends Advanced Configuration Guide, chapter 22 - WebTrends Post Plug-In.

In this manual, step 4 of "Installing an ISAPI Filter" installation says:

"Select the Internet Information Services tab. The Internet Information Services dialog box opens
with the default Master Properties field set to “WWW Service."

There is no such option in IIS 6, while the manual claims that this filter can be installed on both IIS 5 and IIS 6.
I tried and succeed to install this filter on IIS 5, but no success with IIS 6.
I applied this filter on IIS 6 by selecting properties for "Web Sites" node > ISAPI Filters tab > Add... etc.
After IIS restart, this filter still has a red arrow down for status.

I found a MS article [support.microsoft.com] which claims that ISAPI filters designed for IIS 5 might not work for IIS 6,
and that solution is to either get a new version of filter :) or force IIS 6 to run in some IIS 5 compatible mode,
which is not an option for me, because I want to apply this filter on live server where my web site is.

Has anyone tried this WT HTTP POST plug-in on IIS 6 ?
