We have had a website for 7 years like examples.com We just acquired a very similar name (example.com) that we want to forward the traffic to the older site.

What is the best way to track the type in traffic for example.com?

Do we need to create a one page site, that has a GA tag, and redirect the traffic to the examples.com site.

We use GA and are on IIS
