I would say that perhaps the most useful thing an analytics package can do is identify which pages are sending you traffic. If anyone from Google is reading... Ideal drill down: - referring domain Other than that, I played around a bit last night with GA and generally found the interface made many common tasks quicker, but there are still a few I haven't found yet. Overall, yup it feels like kndergarten and, to be honest once again, there's nothing wrong with simplicity as long as you can still get to all the info.
Honestly, I can't believe that they put all of this effort into a new interface and they don't bother to offer some basic functionality like full referrer URL n(at least not natively, though it can sort of be hacked in).
- referring URL up to? (to filter out session IDs and such if relevant)
- referring URL and query string - so I can find out which forum post or blog post actually mentions my site.
