Found this in my log file today:

61.50.219.*** example.com - (18/Aug/2006:02:25:22 -0400) "CONNECT 209.131.**.***:80 HTTP/1.1" 200 12445 "-" "-"

The request came from China and it looks like it trys to make some kind of connection to a Yahoo IP address on Port 80.

Can anyone explain what they're trying to achieve?

I've lately being blocking blank User-agents accessing my forms and logging IP addresses that access my bot trap.

Should I start blocking blank User-agents throughout the whole web site?
